Today I woke up at 7:20 and fell asleep for ten minutes. I then dreamed that I was at some kind of Evel Knievel show. He was about to do this stunt that requires getting past a jet of flames at the right moment. I was reading some magazine when suddenly everyone gasps in horror. I look up and on the jumbotron screen thing is a burnt corpse and this guy runs up to it and is all 'MY GOD. HE'S DEAD.'

I look back at my magazine and was all 'OH SNAP, MY MAGAZINE IS UPSIDE DOWN.'

And then I woke up and got ready for class.

Around 8 AM this morning we got the call. My great-grandmother has passed away.

And I can't go to the funeral (which will be in West Virginia which is a 10-hour drive usually). I have tests in A+P next week and can't schedule make-ups because I have no way getting to school during the day.

Then again, I'm totally failing that class anyway.

So we all heard of the story of Izanami and Izanagi and how Izanami died after giving birth to Kagutsuchi, the god of fire. Izanagi then went batshit crazy and killed him...which lead to a whole lot of gods (and in some sources, eight volcanoes) emerging from his body.

And then I got bored and wrote his birth in his point of view. Which was something plot bunnies have been bugging me for awhile.

She's on oxygen but not on a ventilator because...well, its obvious she wont be lasting much longer.

We figure she has one or two days left.

Funeral is most likely on Saturday.

Idk, semi-/hiatus alarm is go?

2. Apparently we can get a free upgrade to Windows 7 for my laptop.

...This also means reformatting the hard drive.

And reinstalling everything and remembering the passwords to the accounts I've been LJ login-ing.

So um, last night we got a call from Grandma that my great-grandmother is in the hospital because her intestines decided to twist into knots.

She's most likely going to die soon. And...yeah.

Part of me hopes she gets better and part of that is kinda selfish when I'm afraid to miss school for the next couple of weeks since I have a paper to write which....yeah, I've been procrastinating on. *headdesk*

I do plan to go to the funeral (if there is one), though.


Argh, why is this so hard to type out. Is this because I decided to eat ice cream with soda instead of being all 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGST' last night or something?
